This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the blog. Analytics loads only after you choose Accept in the consent banner. If you reject it, the site does not load Google Analytics or set its cookies.

What Google Analytics collects

When it is enabled, Google Analytics receives information such as page views, the page that referred you, approximate location, and device, browser, and operating-system details. This helps show which articles are read and where visits come from. Google processes this information and may process it outside your country.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses the _ga cookie to distinguish visitors and a cookie beginning with _ga_ followed by the property identifier to maintain session state. Google states that these cookies can last for up to two years.

Your choices and retention

You can withdraw consent at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent removes the Analytics cookies and reloads the page. The configured Google Analytics event-data retention period is 14 months.
